Why are Sumdog's games free?

All of Sumdog's mathematics games are free to play, whether you're at home or in school.

You can also sign up for a free Sumdog login.

• If you're a student, your free login lets you customise your profile picture, and track your progress through Sumdog's 100 topics.
• If you're a teacher, your free login lets you create logins for all of your students, without needing to provide their e-mail addresses, and set activities.

There's no catch; we've simply made all this free to encourage lots of students and teachers to try Sumdog. We hope that some schools who use the free features will decide to buy a Sumdog subscription, which lets teachers track their students' progress and set them challenges.

However, there's no obligation to subscribe your school, and no limit on how long you can use the free games should you decide not to subscribe.
