Sumdog's March Mathness
In honour of the NCAA March Madness tournament starting soon, Sumdog is celebrating math and basketball throughout the month of March.
Our annual March Mathness national contest starts Friday March 3rd. Your students can play our Basketball game and shoot some hoops whilst they climb the leaderboard.

March Mathness Fun
Here are some ideas for how to encourage your students to practice more on Sumdog during March Mathness, whether you do activitives one week at a time, or over the course of the whole month.
Basketball Cutouts
Set a goal and have students record their progress on these cutouts, which you can use for a display.
Bracket Play
Use one of our brackets to set up a student vs. student, class vs. class, or grade vs. grade competition!
Certificates of participation
Reward students with a fun certificate when they achieve their daily or weekly goals.
Wall of fame
Whether it’s in your classroom or hallway, put up a poster and display the certificates or cutouts for everyone to see!
