Your Sumdog username for your parent account will be the email address you used to set up your account. It is always best to keep your email address in our system up to date. You can find more information on how to update your email address here.
If you don’t have access to your email address we can’t change your password as we are not able to confirm that it is your account. In this case, set up a new account. You can find more information on how to set up a new account here.
If you have forgotten your password you will be able to request for a password reset here.
Enter the email address you signed up with and click ‘Forgot password’. Sumdog will send you an email containing a link which you should click to reset your password. If you get a message that the link has expired, you can request a password reset again.
Sometimes due to your email account settings, the email might be blocked and sent to your spam/junk mail folder. If you are not able to locate the email or link, email us at email@example.com and we will be able to help.

If you have accidentally registered for a teacher account instead of a parent account you will need to email our support team and request their help.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to delete your teacher account. This will then allow you to undertake the registration process with your email address, and create a parent account to replace it.
You can operate two Sumdog accounts registered to two separate email addresses. It’s important to note that these two accounts will be separate, and have separate functions and account history.
Only one Sumdog account can be registered to any given email address. That means you cannot register multiple accounts to the same email address.
If you are a teacher looking to register a parent account, you will be required to sign up using a separate email address.
As a teacher, we would advise that you use your work email for your teacher account, and personal email for your parent account. Please ensure you use an active email address which you are able to freely access. This is important for functions such as validation of email and resetting your account password.
If you no longer have access to your email in order to reset your password, you can email our team at email@example.com with details and we will be glad to help. For data security reasons we will be required to ask you a number of security questions to verify that you are the valid account owner. We will then be able to reset the password for you.
