How to edit your schools’ standards/curriculum

This guide will explain how to choose which standards/curriculum your school follows and how to change the order which the students work through the standards/curriculum on Sumdog.

Note: Changing the standards will reset the diagnostic score for all students in the school account. You should only change the school’s standards if you have spoken to the other teachers on the school account.

How to reorder the skills in your schools’/class’ standards/curriculum

Students will work through their skill plan according to the standards/curriculum you have selected for your school account and their diagnostic test results.

The skills will be in line with your selected standards/curriculum, however, you can select the order in which the students in either your class or school will work through the skills. When you reorder the skills, the reordered skills will only affect the students who are in that grade/year level in their diagnostic test.

Example: If a student is in 4th grade and has a diagnostic test score of 3.30, they will be working on grade 3 skills. You would therefore need to reorder the skills for grade 3 instead of grade 4.

These instructions explain how to reorder the standards/curriculum for your class or whole school.
