If you are not currently teaching at the school which sent you the invite, reject the invite by clicking on the link in the notification email and pressing ‘Cancel’ at the bottom of the page. Your teacher account will then remain in the current school account until it has been removed.
To join the school account which sent you the invite, click on the link in the email. Click ‘Switch schools’ at the bottom of the page to confirm the move from your previous school. Your teacher account will then be moved to the other school account and you will be removed from your current school account. This will not move any student accounts.
If you are part of the school that you were invited to join but your account happens to be in another school, this could be due to:
You moving school and not leaving your old school’s Sumdog account
You might be in a duplicate or incorrect school account
The teachers in your school may not have approved your request yet. You could let the teachers in your school know that you have requested to join the school account and ask them to approve your join request.
Once you have sent your request to join a school’s Sumdog account, we will email all the teachers currently on the account letting them know that someone has requested to join the school. They will also be notified of the pending request when they next log into their teacher account. Any teacher on the account will be able to approve a join request from the Manage teachers page.
If they are not able to find your request make sure that you have requested to join the correct account.
If you have registered for your teacher account using a personal email, the teachers might be cautious of accepting your request so make sure to let them know which email address you used.
