How to reset a student's math diagnostic score
If the math diagnostic places a student too high or too low, they may be seeing questions which are too difficult or easy for them. For example, this might happen if an older sibling has helped or if the student was rushing during the math diagnostic.
Re-running the math diagnostic will not remove any pets or coins.
These instructions explain how to reset a student’s diagnostic score.

Click ‘Reports’ at the top of the teacher dashboard.
Ensure you have selected your desired class and subject. You can change these using the drop down menus at the top left

Click ‘CHECK’ in the ‘Diagnostic results’ box

Tick the student(s) you would like to reset the math diagnostic for using the boxes in the left column

Click ‘RESET LEVEL’
Note: If your students are working below level skip this step and instead follow Step 5 to 7

To select the appropriate math diagnostic start level for your students click on the ‘Click here to customize the diagnostic’

Scroll down to the student and choose the year level from the drop down box

Scroll up to the top of the page and click on ‘RESET LEVEL’
