How to use Multiplication tables check (MTC)
The Multiplication tables check (MTC) allows you to test your student’s fluency on their multiplication tables and practice for the MTC given to Year 4 students in England.
Each MTC activity consists of 25 multiplication tables questions from the 2 to 8 multiplication tables. Emphasis has been placed on the 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12 multiplication tables. The MTC activity will be visible on the student’s account for 24 hours for them to complete.
Unlike the other activities on Sumdog the MTC questions will not be multiple choice and students will need to key in their answers within 6 seconds. They can use either their keyboard, mouse or touchscreen to key in their answers.
At the end of each MTC activity, students will not be shown their correction but will be able to see how many questions they answered correctly.
